100 Club

The 100 Club logoThe 100 Club is a non-profit organization that was established to support firefighters, law enforcement officers, and their families. These individuals sacrifice their lives to keep American citizens safe. The 100 Club is a way for American citizens to give back and show their appreciation. The donations collected from the 100 Club go to families who have suffered the loss of a loved one in the line of duty, paying off debts and providing an education for their children. Essential life-protecting equipment is also provided to officers and firefighters including bulletproof vests, radio equipment and armored personnel carriers. Some donation money is also set aside to fund scholarships for officers in order to expand their education in Criminal Justice.

Behind the Badges

Behind the Badge Charity logoBehind the Badges is another organization that supports the brave men and women who risk their lives working behind the badge. With generous donations from the community, this charity provides support and assistance to all public safety professionals in Fort Bend County near Houston, Texas. This includes firefighters, correctional officers, peace officers, emergency medical technicians, probation officers, and 911 emergency communications professionals. The Behind the Badges charity helps provide need-based grants to individuals who have suffered injury, illness, or other tragedy that has not been covered by insurance or other assistance. The charity also provides academic scholarships to the children or dependents of public safety professionals. These scholarships are dedicated to the memory of officers who have died honorably in the line of duty.

Big Brothers Big Sisters

Big Brothers and Big Sisters logoBig Brothers Big Sisters is the largest donor and volunteer supported network in the nation. This organization helps provide children facing adversity with strong, meaningful relationships that help bring about positive change in their lives. Children ages six through eighteen (called “Littles”) are matched up with caring adult volunteers (called “Bigs”) who act as mentors, empowering children to achieve their dreams. A few times a month Bigs will spend quality time with their Littles, playing sports, going on hikes, reading books, going out to the movies; simply helping these children realize their full potential and build brighter futures.
